Bread Kheer(Pudding)

Bread kheer or Bread pudding is quite a famous dessert recipe in Pakistan and around the globe. Personally, it is one of my most favorite sweet dishes. It is low-budget, affordable, and takes less time to cook. It gives the taste of Khoya.

In this blog I will share three different recipes of ‘Bread Kheer.’ You can make anyone of these and get appreciation from your family members.

RECIPE 1

Ingredients: -

  • Bread Slices………… 8
  • Milk …………………….2 liters
  • Sugar …………………. As per taste
  • Kewra water ………… ½ tablespoon
  • Egg yolk ………………. 6

Method: -

  • First of All the bread slices one by one and fry them in a non-stick pan without oil. Fry until bread slices become dry and light golden in color.
  • Crush and add them in milk.
  • Now put this milk mixture on a low flame and cook it for 5-6 minutes.
  • After sometimes add sugar and egg yolk. Don’t forget to stir the spoon when you are adding everything in. Now sprinkle kewra on this kheer and present it with nuts.

 

RECIPE 2

Bread-Kheer-cookingfever101..

Ingredients: -

  • Bread Slices…….. 4
  • Sugar…………. As per taste
  • Milk……………..  2kg
  • Green cardamom……. 6
  • Ghee……… 1 cup

Method: -

  • Fry bread slices in ghee until they are golden in color.
  • Boil the milk, add fried bread slices when the milk starts boiling
  • Stir until it is cooked.
  • Add sugar and green cardamoms and cook for another 2 minutes.
  • Serve chilled.

RECIPE 3

Ingredients: -

  • Bread Slices…………6
  • Sugar…………………. 2 cups
  • Oil………………… 1 cup
  • Milk …………….. 2 kg
  • Green cardamoms…. 10
  • Almond……… ¼ cup
  • Pistachio…… ¼ cup
  • Khoya …….. ¼ kg
  • Kewra………. 2-3 drops

Method: -

  • Boil green cardamoms in milk.
  • Fry the bread slices and add them in boiling milk.
  • Stir it until it's thick like kheer.
  • Now add khoya and sugar in it and cook for 2-3 minutes more.
  • Take out in dish and let it cool.
  • Before serving spread almonds and pistachio on pudding and refrigerate it for 1 hour.
